| Each year for the months of November and December, Big Brothers Big Sisters of St Lucie, Indian River & Okeechobee County calls upon our friends in the community to make the holiday season brighter for the children we serve. Families that have faced hardship in the past year place requests for assistance during the holiday season so the children do not have to go without in a time when many of us take for granted all we have. In response to that need, corporations and individuals contribute by providing a family with a full Thanksgiving meal or donating toys, clothes and other necessities for the holiday celebration. With the help of our community, each year Big Brothers Big Sisters is able to provide holiday support to hundreds of families across St Lucie, Indian River & Okeechobee Counties. Donations can be made in a number of ways, including: Donating food or gift certificates for a family's Thanksgiving Adopting a family for the holiday season by donating age appropriate gifts, clothing, etc. Having a toy drive in your office Donating toys, and games for children aged up to 17 Making a cash donation for Big Brothers Big Sisters to purchase any of the above items For more information, or if you are interested in making a donation, please contact Kelly Chicvara a kelly.chicvara@bbbsbigs.org or call (772) 466-8535 x207 or donate now |
